problem with Table c28, hand 75

There was a problem on table c28 with hand 75.  If you were on the railbird list you may have noticed.

At 5:52pm on 1/14/2009 the table finished with a call from player "Sharon" that eliminated player "Little Gamey".

This hand summary went out to the list.

Then at 9:34pm on 1/14/2009 the table finished AGAIN with what appears to be a timeout from player "Sharon" thereby giving the pot to "Little Gamey".  This hand summary also went out to the list.

WRGPT does not "run'em twice".

What happened is that the hand was completed as per the first hand summary eliminating "Little Gamey".  The dealer then did not correctly "clean up" the hand data and start a new hand.

Later, when the timeout would have come if "Sharon" has not taken action it folded player "Sharon".  This time the dealer did get the hand cleaned up properly and started a new hand.

Per floorman decision the first finish stands.  We see this as equivalent to awarding the last hand before a break then having the players return from the break to notice that the chip counts have changed.

To correct this all players were given the stacks they would have had if the first finish had stood.  Then the table was broken as that was the easiest way for me to get the players going again as there was already a live redraw in progress.

The hand #76 that started inadvertently was voided.

I do have a pretty good idea what bug in the dealer software caused this to happen.  I will continue to investigate to make sure then implement a fix so that it cannot happen again.
